Lower Secondary Geography
Milverton’s Geography department aims to inspire curiosity and fascination about the world and its people. Lower Secondary students follow the National Curriculum and gain a knowledge of diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments alongside a secure understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes.
Throughout the course students will:
- Develop a contextual knowledge of globally significant places.
- Understand the processes that give rise to key physical and human geographical features.
- Become competent in the geographical skills needed to collect, analyse, and communicate data.
- Develop the skills required to competently interpret a wide range of sources of geographical information.
