How Milverton’s tutors work

Your journey starts with an introduction to our Academic Director, who’ll sit down with you and your family. They’ll use this meeting to uncover what you hope to get from your tuition, and crucially, to get to know you and how you learn best.

We’ll then carefully match you to a tutor who’s right for you, based on your needs, preferences and personality.

We’re very selective about the way we recruit our tutors. Everyone in our team has many years of experience in the classroom and in tutoring, and a genuine passion for their subject. Each tutor is DBS and reference checked, and comes with glowing testimonials from the students and families they’ve worked with.

We’ll brief your tutor thoroughly before your first session, so they can deliver highly personalised and engaging online lessons from the very beginning, helping you make rapid progress.

We send out monthly reports to parents and hold regular check-ins with them, so they always have a clear picture of your progress.
