Each student follows an individual pathway, but sessions will typically focus on:
- Core number skills — developing fluency with calculation, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Algebra — understanding patterns, expressions, and solving equations
- Problem solving — applying mathematical knowledge to multi-step and unfamiliar questions
- Reasoning and explanation — developing clear, logical thinking and the ability to explain methods
- Key topics — building confidence across areas such as geometry, measures, and data handling
Teaching will be adapted to each student’s level, ensuring they are appropriately challenged and supported throughout the programme.

Eb Otoo - Maths Speicalist
Eb Otoo is a highly experienced Maths teacher specialising in GCSE and A-Level, and currently teaches at Berkhamsted School. He is known for helping students build strong understanding and achieve excellent results.
His calm, structured approach enables students to master challenging topics and develop confident problem-solving skills. He tailors his teaching to each student, using clear explanations and targeted support to drive consistent progress in a supportive, high-performance learning environment.
