Milverton Education Online School – Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the guidelines and expectations for all users of Milverton Education’s online school platform. This policy applies to students, staff members, parents, and any other individuals granted access to our online learning environment. By using our platform, users agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth in this AUP.
2. Responsible Use
a. Access: Users are provided access to our online school for educational purposes only. Any unauthorized use, including accessing or attempting to access restricted areas or systems, is strictly prohibited.
b. User Accounts: Users are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their login credentials. Sharing or revealing login information with others is strictly prohibited.

c. Reporting Concerns: Users are encouraged to report any concerns related to inappropriate behavior, cyberbullying, or safety issues to the appropriate school staff or designated safeguarding lead.
4. Online Safety
a. Online Privacy: Users must respect the privacy of others and refrain from sharing or distributing personal or sensitive information about other users.
b. Internet Safety: Users should follow safe internet practices, including avoiding accessing or sharing inappropriate or harmful content. They should report any encountered risks or concerns to the appropriate school staff.
c. Malicious Software: Users must not knowingly introduce or distribute any form of malicious software, viruses, or other harmful programs that may compromise the integrity of the online school platform.
5. Consequences of Violation
a. Breach of this AUP may result in disciplinary action, which can include, but is not limited to, warnings, temporary suspension of access privileges, or termination of access to the online school platform.
b. Serious violations may be reported to appropriate law enforcement agencies if deemed necessary.
6. Review and Updates
This AUP is subject to periodic review and may be updated to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or school policies. Users will be notified of any significant updates.
By using Milverton Education’s online school platform, users acknowledge and agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disciplinary action.
